Sous Chef to help raise funds for local college.

Martin Frickel, Forest Side’s Sous Chef, working alongside seven other Cumbrian chefs is busy gearing up to host a very special dinner at Kendal College this February…

The group of local chefs either alumni of the college or student mentors features recent MasterChef competitors; Matt Campbell (Lakes based private chef) and Ryan Blackburn (chef proprietor of The Old Stamp House), alongside Martin Frickel (Forest Side), Arthur Bridgeman Quinn (The Punch Bowl), Scott Fairweather (The Black Swan), Mike Southcott (Café Ambio), Will Dickinson (a development chef for Greencore) and Andrew Postlethwaite (Three Hares)

The eight decided to get together to host this fundraising dinner to put something back and to help raise funds to assist current Kendal College catering students broaden their culinary knowledge overseas and develop themselves as chefs through exposure to other food cultures.

Guests attending the dinner at Kendal College, on Friday 23rd February, will enjoy an eight-course tasting menu featuring a course and a snack by each chef.
