Lorna trained at 2 Michelin Star restaurant Andrew Fairlies, Gleneagles for 12 years, working her way up from apprentice to Sous Chef. She is now Head Chef of Cail Bruich in Glasgow.
A competitive Scottish Chef, Lorna has competed and demonstrated throughout Scotland.
Winning “Scottish Chef of the Year” in 2017 and winning Scotland’s “Game Chef of the Year” in 2016.
In recent years Lorna has taken part in BBC’s Great British Menu, winning the Scottish region in 2018, in 2019 series Lorna went a step further, going through to the banquet with her dessert and being crowned “Champion of Champions”. She was also a Judge in 2019’s Scottish Chef of the Year, handing over her crown to a new Chef.
Cail Bruich means “To eat well” and Lorna uses of fresh Scottish produce to showcase her food vision and talent.
