Champagne Dinner with Mathieu Pouchan

Wine maker dinners continue at Forest Side on Wednesday, 06th June 2018 at 7.00pm, with an intimate evening hosted by Mathieu Pouchan, from Champagne Salon and Champagne Delamotte, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, France.

Champagne Delamotte has been one of the benchmark Champagne houses, based in Côte des Blancs since 1760. The range of Champagne produced by this legendary house, from the non-vintage brut, to the rose, to the blanc de blancs, all are precise and speak of the terroir of the Côte des Blancs.

Champagne Salon is the grand vin from Delamotte and to put it simply, is one of the greatest Champagnes on the planet! All the emphasis in the production of this exceptional wine is on the singular. It was originally the product of one single man, Aimé Salon; from one single region, the Côte des Blancs; from one single cru, le Mesnil-sur-Oger; from one single grape variety, Chardonnay; and from one single vintage, with no blending whatsoever.

Up to eight guests will be able to enjoy the evening, which starts at 7.00pm, with a glass of fizz in the bar, giving guests the opportunity to mingle. Before sitting down in Forest Side’s Private Dining Room with Mathieu to enjoy dinner and a selection of wines from the two Champagne houses.

The dinner is priced at £200 per person to include a six-course dinner specially created for the occasion by Forest Side’s Head Chef Kevin Tickle and matched wines from Champagne Salon and Champagne Delamotte.
